This duo hoped to make an attempt on the unclimbed Khurdopin Sar (6310m) via a traverse of the peak’s west ridge that would include the subsidiary peaks at 6,100m and 6,140m. Unfortunately, due to persistent, heavy snow (daily dumps of 20cm), they never advanced beyond their ABC.
